WINNEBAGO — A 45-year-old Mapleton woman whose vehicle hit a deer Friday morning on Highway 169 has died.

Catherine Treanor was flown by helicopter to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester with serious injuries, but the State Patrol listed her condition as “deceased” Saturday.

She was driving near Winnebago when a deer went through the vehicle’s front windshield and out the rear windshield. The vehicle spun out and hit a utility pole.
