Phillip Phillips, "American Idol" Season 11 winner and triple platinum recording artist, will perform at Minnesota State University in an 8 p.m. concert April 10 in the Centennial Student Union Ballroom.
Sponsored by the IMPACT Programming Board, Phillips and a special guest will perform for MSU atudents and the general public as IMPACT's spring concert. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Limited $20 tickets for general public admission will go on sale noon Friday, Feb. 15. Tickets will be available online at www.csuevents.com for credit card sales only. Ticket purchases by cash or check only can be made in the Student Activities Office of the Centennial Student Union located in CSU 173. In-person sales will be available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets are limited to room capacity.
Phillips' hit single "Home" has sales of over 3.4 million making it the most successful coronation song of any" American Idol" winner. Phillips first album, "The World From The Side Of The Moon," debuted at number 4 on Billboard¹s Top 200 chart in November. Phillips' new single, "Gone. Gone, Gone," is currently climbing the charts.
In addition to recently touring with Matchbox 20, Phillips has been on "The Ellen Show," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and on the premiere of "American Idol" Season 12.
