Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato ranks 14th in state, according to U.S. News

MANKATO — Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato has been ranked No. 14 in Minnesota and was recognized among the Best Hospitals in southwest Minnesota in the 24th U.S. News & World Report annual America’s Best Hospitals list.

The rankings, made public today, rank hospitals within each state and also provide national rankings.

“Being labeled as one of the best hospitals in southern Minnesota and in the top 15 in the state is a testament to the expertise and quality service that our providers and allied health staff deliver to our patients each day,” said Regional President and CEO Greg Kutcher of the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Minnesota's top three were the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Allina Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. 

Other than Mayo in Rochester, the highest-ranking outstate hospital was St. Cloud Hospital, ranked seventh. Mankato's hospital was the next highest at 14.
