MANKATO — At least three people were arrested early Sunday morning after police responded to a weapons complaint at the Kato Ballroom.
Police were sent to the ballroom at about 2:05 a.m. after a report of gunfire. A short time later they also responded to an incident at the Holiday convenience store on Riverfront Drive, according to weekend incident reports.
At least three people were in jail Monday morning after being arrested for riot and weapons crimes, according to the Blue Earth County Jail roster.
It isn't immediately clear if the two incidents were related. There was a concert at the Kato Ballroom Saturday night and Sunday morning. More information should be available after the Monday morning Department of Public Safety briefing.
