MANKATO — Minnesota Twins pitching legend Jack Morris will speak 7 p.m. Feb. 20 in the banquet hall at Verizon Wireless Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza.
Morris is known as the winningest pitcher from the 1980s. His pitching performance in Game Seven for the Minnesota Twins in the 1991 World Series is considered a great moment in baseball history.
After his talk, Morris will be available to sign autographs.
There is no admission fee. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Morris is the first guest of two in Storytellers, a speaker series presented by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative. The series is funded by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
The next speaker will be scheduled for early May.
