WALDORF — Technical Academies of Minnesota, a public charter school in the former Waldorf school, will open its doors in September if enough students enroll.
Meetings, all at 7 p.m., are being held to inform parents and high school age students about the school:

Wednesday, Waseca, East Annex, 300 North State St.
June 3, Janesville, City Council meeting room, 101 N. Mott St.
June 4, New Richland, City Hall, 203 North Broadway.
June 5, Mapleton, Fire Station, 104 2nd Ave N.E.
June 6, Wells, Community Center, 189 2nd St. S.E.
June 10, Albert Lea Fairlane Building Fairgrounds, 1029 Bridge Ave.
June 11, North Mankato, 1920 Lee Bldv.
June 12, St Clair City Hall, 304 West Main St.
The recruitment goal is to have a minimum of 50 students enrolled by July 1 to open the academy in the fall. As a new charter school, opening is contingent on recruitment, enrollment and fundraising.
