MANKATO — Customers using AT&T cell phones in the Mankato area experienced a temporary disruption in service Friday morning.
Mark Giga, AT&T spokesman in Minnesota, said the service disruption started Friday morning and was fixed by early afternoon. It's likely not everyone who uses the service noticed the problem due to the complicated communications system cell hones use, he said.
It also was difficult to describe the exact area where the problems occurred, Giga said. In general, it was an area in the southwest portion of the state that included the Mankato region.
