It will be interesting to see. I hope so, as do a lot of Americans. I know in recent talks I had with Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar that there has been a bipartisan group of about 40 senators meeting regularly over dinner and such to go over these things, to understand each other's common goals and work toward, well, working together more.
The fiscal cliff avoidance bill may not have been the best piece of legislation to come out of Washington in recent years, but it offers hope that a structural change is occuring in the politics.
That would be huge.
