Beatrice McPhee Teeters


—   Beatrice McPhee Teeters, Baxter, Minnesota, died peacefully on April 19, 2013, at the age of 81, with her children by her side. Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd, MN at 10 AM Tuesday April 23, 2013. Friends may call 5-7 PM Monday at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home and at  the church from 9:30 AM until service time on Tuesday. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji.  

  Beatrice was born in Shevlin, Minnesota May 1, 1931, to Beatrice (Pawek) and Frank McPhee. Beatrice graduated from Bagley High School in 1949 and attended Nursing School at St. Gabriel's School of Nursing in Little Falls, Minnesota, she graduated in 1952. Beatrice worked at Minneapolis General, Bemidji Hospital, St. Joseph's Medical Center, and later Good Neighbor Home Health Care. In 1968, Beatrice married Earl Teeters, they made their home in Baxter, Minnesota. Beatrice loved traveling, spending time at Cass Lake, fishing, hunting, playing cards, and spending time with her children and grand children.

  She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Beatrice McPhee, husband Earl Teeters, brothers Jim McPhee and John McPhee.

  She is survived by her children, Karolyn Teeters (Tom Potter) Bovey, MN and Michelle (Mike) Steindl Madison Lake, MN and 6 grandchildren, Spencer and Delaney Potter, Parker, Quintin, Sophie, and Reagan Steindl, brothers Tony McPhee, William McPhee and Leo McPhee.
