    Donald "Donny" Rewitzer, 83, of New Ulm died Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with Monsignor John A. Richter celebrating the Mass.  Burial will be in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery with full military honors being conducted by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard.  Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Monday and from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, North Chapel, in New Ulm.  To leave an online condolence for his family or to sign the guestbook go to: www.mvfh.org.

    Donald is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Cher and Martin Joel, Audre and Rod Scheitel all of North Mankato, Patti Rodgers of Madison Lake; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Paulette Rewitzer of Lake Hanska, Jim and Margi     Rewitzer, Tom and Beth        Rewitzer all of New Ulm; sixteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth and Leo Waibel of New Ulm, Joyce and John Hogen of Shakopee.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn Rewitzer; grandson, Tim Scheitel; sister, Lois "Dolly" Bassett; and brother, Leo Rewitzer.
