Shirley Ann Lloyd

—   Shirley Ann Lloyd, age 78, of Le Center died Friday, November 2, 2012, at St. Gertrude's Health Care in Shakopee. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 10 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

 Shirley was born on November 26, 1933, and raised by Uncle John "Pa" Schleeve along with his two daughters Alice Rau and Gladys Grice. She went to school at St. Ann's Catholic School & Le Sueur High School in Le Sueur. She married John Lloyd in 1956 in Cleveland. She worked at ASC/ASCS Office in Le Center and Central Health Care as a kitchen manager.

 She enjoyed MN Twins baseball, card and game playing, cooking and loved entertaining grandchildren at the holidays and was an active CCW member and past president.

  Shirley is survived by children Morgan (and Theresa) Lloyd of Jordan, Bill (and Karen) Lloyd of Shakopee, Joe (and Amy) Lloyd of Jordan and Tim (and Laurie) Lloyd of Le Center, 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister Gladys Grice of Maple Grove and son-in-law Rusty Meger of Le Center.

  Shirley is preceded in death by husband John, her parents, uncle John "Pa" Schleeve, daughter Liz Meger, sister Alice Rau and brother Mike Larkin.

  Auxiliary Honors are provided by the Le Center American Legion Auxiliary.
