Diane M. (Fandre) Brenner, 68, Mankato, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at her home. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home. Visitation will held 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2014 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice.
Diane was born November 2, 1945 to Earl and Anne (Schreiner) Fandre in Virginia, MN. She was united in marriage to William Brenner on November 3, 1978 in Las Vegas. Diane worked as a Realtor and CHS Purchasing. Bill and Di built and established "Westwood Bar and Marina" on Lake Washington from 1980 - 1986. In her free time she enjoyed boating, curling, and golfing. Diane also volunteered as a Salvation Army bell ringer.
She is survived by husband, Bill Brenner of Mankato: son, Sean Steiner of Cincinnati, OH; daughters, Shelly Prueher (fiance Jeff Madges) of Randall, MN and Joey (Wayne) Eski of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren, Kiley Shea Steiner, Kelsey Prueher, and Ivy, Ethan and Luca Eski; brother, Steve (Renee) Fandre of Irving, TX; niece, Beth Lane of Aledo, TX; and nephew LTC Matt Fandre of San Antonio, TX.
Diane is preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Prueher; parents, Earl and Ann Fandre; and in-laws, Joe and Dot Brenner.
