Beatrice Christina (Weber) Kunst, 75, Mankato, died Sunday, June 30, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013 at Ss. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in Mankato with Father Ted Hottinger officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home with prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Beatrice was born February 11, 1938 to Christian and Augusta (Mier) Weber in Wells. She was united in marriage to Richard Charles Kunst on June 4, 1960 in Mankato. Beatrice worked for the Mankato Corporation, as a homemaker, and as a care giver to her husband. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, shopping, her dogs; Julian, Neoma, and CuJo, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters, Cynthia (Michael) Baker of Mankato and Kimberly (Ben) Kintzel of Mankato; grandchildren, Jared Kintzel, Renae (Michael) Masters, Kristina Kintzel (Corey Rapp), Nicole (Adam) Saidler, Anthony Rowcliffe, and Jesse Baker; great grandchildren, Jaden, Owen, Autumn, and Grayson; brother James Weber of Wells; sisters, Caroline Abbott of Wisconsin, Pauline Ray of Mankato, and Alice Wilaby of Mankato; sister-in-law Carol Kunst of Mankato.
Beatrice is preceded in death by the love of her life, Richard Kunst.
Her passing was very bittersweet. We mourn as we will never again see her smile, hear her laugh or feel her touch yet we know she is celebrating with the love of her life, Richard. They will both be in our hearts forever.
