Patricia 'Pat' Pinske

—   Patricia "Pat" Pinske, age 72, of Gaylord passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.

  Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 12, 2012, 10:30 A.M. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Gaylord with Father Keith Salisbury officiating. Inurnment will be in the Gaylord Municipal Cemetery.

  Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 2012, 3:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. at the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

  Patricia Pat Ann (Cook) Pinske was born on March 28, 1940, in St. Peter, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Wilfrid and Patricia (Stafford) Cook. Pat was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth, both by Father James Ryan at St. Peters Catholic Church in St. Peter. She received her education in Mankato and was a 1955 graduate of Good Council Academy in Mankato.

  Pat lived in Elysian, Minnesota, and was on the City Council. She was involved with organizing parades, the 4th of July contest, which included arm wrestling and entertainment.

  Pat was employed for the State of Minnesota as a Job Placement Coordinator, retiring in 1995. After retirement she worked for the DAC in Arlington, the Economic Development Agency in Gaylord and also sold real estate. She loved working with people.

  On December 29, 1995, Pat was united in marriage to Raymond Ted Pinske at the Marysburg Church near Madison Lake, Minnesota. After their marriage, the couple resided in Gaylord.   

  Pat was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Gaylord, where she taught religion class and played the organ. She was on the Gaylord City Council, Eggstravaganza Coordinator, member of the Gaylord Chamber and also a volunteer for the Senior Center.

  Pat enjoyed music, singing, oil painting, visiting museums, flowers, history and genealogy. She loved to cook and bake, and travel, especially with Ted to Texas. Pat also loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Blessed be her memory.

  Pat is survived by her husband, Raymond Ted Pinske of Gaylord, MN; children, Scott Schmidt of Gaylord, MN, Michael Schmidt and his wife, Jennifer of Bailey, CO, Lisa Stadler and her husband, Mark of Cleveland, MN, and Willy Schmidt and his wife, Jenny of Gaylord, MN; step-children, Kelly Hickles and her husband, James of Davenport, IA, and Jason Pinske and his wife, Linda of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren, Jaleesa Nelson and her husband, John, Bailey Blaschko, Otis and Georgia Grace Schmidt, Caitlin, Josi, Kylee, and Willow Schmidt; brothers, John Cook and his wife Susan, of St. Peter, MN, Harold Cook of Remer, MN, James Cook and his wife, Mary Jo of Grand Island, NE, and Thomas Cook of Lincoln, NE; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

  Pat was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Sandy Cook; and nephew, (godson) Bryan Cook.
