Marian Lois Meyer


—   Marian Lois Meyer, age 67, of Wells, MN, died Friday, April 12, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 15, 2013, at 11:00 AM at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells, MN. Visitation will be held Sunday, from 1:00-5:00 PM at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home with a prayer service at 5:00 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Father Thomas Niehaus will officiate and interment will be in St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery in Wells. Please see www.brussheitner.com to leave online condolences.   Marian Lois Meyer was born October 2, 1945, in Dunbar Township, Faribault County, MN, the daughter of Leonard B. and Kathryn L. (Whalen) Neubauer.  Marian graduated from Wells-Easton High School, the class of 1963. On April 3, 1964, Marian was united in marriage to Larry D. Meyer at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells.  To this union 4 children were born.  

  Marian enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, bird watching, going to the theater, plays, and other live performances.  She especially enjoyed any activities involving her grandchildren. Marian worked at MEI (Minnesota Elevator Incorporated) for 12 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and CCW.

  Marian is survived by 4 children: Richard (wife Megan) Meyer of Wells, Michelle (husband Jim) Hansen of N. Mankato, MN, Tracy (wife Amber) Meyer of Hudson, WI, and Stacy Foster of Wells, MN; 7 grandchildren: Josh Bramer of Owatonna, Blaise Schultz  of Mankato, Brittany Schultz of Minneapolis, Ben Meyer of Lake Mills, IA, Jacob Meyer of Mason city, IA, Ethan Foster and Keagen Meyer, both of Wells, 1 great-granddaughter, Ava Bramer of Owatonna, MN; 2 sisters: Doris (husband Bub) Kennard of Lebanon, OH, and Marvel (husband William) Orbell of Freeborn, MN; 2 nieces: Anne (husband Paul) Giese of Wells and Susie (husband Jeff) Stenzel of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law: Neva Neubauer of Wells.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Lyle Neubauer.
