Jeanette Ann (Friedrichs) Bradley, age 78, of Grand Junction, Colorado passed away peacefully surrounded by her children Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Mantey Heights Rehabilitation Care Center. She was born to Richard and Velma Friedrichs on January 7, 1936 in Mankato, Minnesota.
Jean attended Mankato High School and graduated in 1954. She met her husband Charles Bradley, at a dance in Phoenix, Arizona, and they married in 1957.
Jean had varied interests including traveling, cooking, skiing, playing golf and seeing her grandchildren whenever she could. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chuck, who passed away in 2011, and her father, Richard Friedrichs, who passed away in 1994. She is survived by her mother, Velma (Friedrichs) Bunde of Mankato, sister Betty (Tom) Rykhus also of Mankato and her brother, Mike (Jan)Friedrichs of Golden, Colorado; her children Scott Bradley of Sherwood, Oregon; Jill (Russell) Applegate of Queen Creek, Arizona; Colleen (John) Bradley-Sanders of Plano, Texas; Gail (John) Howe of Grand Junction, Colorado; Patrick Bradley of Golden, Colorado; and Erin (Robert) Farrell of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and her grandchildren Shannon Bradley, Mackenzie Bradley, Katherine Howe, Jonah Howe and Brady Sanders.
The family held private services in Grand Junction and has plans to hold another memorial this summer in Denver where she lived most of her life and where many friends still reside who wish to pay their respects.
