Thomas "Tom" Berentson

— Thomas "Tom" Berentson, 61 of Faribault, died on Saturday,  October 26, 2013 at home.

 Memorial services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Lora Sturm, Faribault Area Hospice chaplain, officiating.  Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

 Memorial visitation will be for one hour prior to the

service on Thursday.

 Thomas Richard, the son of Vern and Nicoloza (Cabellero) Berentson, was born June 8, 1952 in Mankato.  He graduated from Mankato West High School in 1970 and went on to South Central College in Albert Lea. Tom served in the U.S. Army.  He was an electrician previously employed by Sellner Manufacturing and currently by Crown Cork and Seal, both of Faribault. On February 28, 1991, Tom married Diana Simmons in Mankato.

 Survived by wife, Diana of Faribault; six children, Julie Berentson (Jason), Eagan, Eric (Sheila) Radel, Cottage Grove, Fred Berentson, Eagle Lake, Angela Berentson, Faribault, Tracy Berentson, Faribault and Travis Berentson, Mankato; eight grandchildren, Kassandra, Ethan, Nathan, Gavin, Elijah, Ava, Belinda, MacKenzie; siblings, Bob (Kathy) Berentson, Mankato, Anna Kerns, Mapleton, Barb (and Dale, who passed away a day after Tom)  Kerns, Mankato, Malinda (Forrest) Engebretson, Mapleton, Tony Berentson, Mapleton, Frances Berentson, Mankato, Rose (Tom) Delbarre, Eagle Lake, Tim Berentson, Mapleton; step sister, Judy Bissell, Mankato and step brother, Al
