LeAnn "Annie" Meyer

— LeAnn "Annie" Meyer, 52, passed away in Colorado in February of this year. Annie was born March 8, 1961, in St. Peter, Minnesota, to Gerald and Patricia Meyer. She attended John Ireland grade school and graduated from St. Peter High School in 1979.

Annie loved sports and was active in volleyball, track, and softball during high school. She later played on the Whiskey River softball team and took up her favorite sport, golf. Annie attended Mankato State University and went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force from 1984-1992, stationed at Lowry Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado. After her honorable discharge, she worked for the University of Colorado Health & Science Center as an administrative assistant at the School of Internal Medicine. She went on to work at US Bank in downtown Denver in the Information Technology area. She loved her job and was a dedicated, long-time employee. When she wasn't working, Annie enjoyed gardening, was an avid golfer, and became a connoisseur of fine wines. She loved to travel, spend time with friends, and care for her beloved cat, Cooper.

Annie is survived by her parents, Jerry and Patricia Meyer of St. Peter, MN, her siblings, Sherry (Joe) Peterson, Judy (Randy) Gustafson, Jeanne (Stu) Douglas, all of St. Peter, MN; Colleen (Doug) Ahrenstorff of Alexandria, MN; Steve Meyer of Naples, FL; David (Deb) Meyer of Riverside, FL; Mark (Sheri) Meyer of Temecula, CA; and Patrick Meyer of Andover, MN. She is also survived by Aunt and Uncle Janice and Jim Dirkes of Plymouth, MN, Aunt Arleen Klarich of Vallejo, CA, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, as well as her extended family of very close friends and co-workers, and of course, her cat Cooper.

We miss you so much. You lived for your family and friends and now we

live for you.

You will never be forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, at the Willis Case golf course, and another event will be held to honor Annie in St. Peter, Minnesota, in the near future.
