Dale H. Brenner

—   Dale H. Brenner, age 71, of Mankato, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Central Health Care in Le Center.

 A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 11 AM at the Northview North Mankato Mortuary with Pastor Wayne Eichstadt, officiating.  A visitation from 4 to 7pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the Northview North Mankato Mortuary, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church and School or donor's choice.  Northview North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

 Dale was born June 17, 1941, to Harold and Odella (Lubke) Brenner in Mankato, MN.  He attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated Mankato High School.  Dale was also a graduate of the Mankato Vocational School.  Dale was united in marriage to Carol Schwiem on August 1, 1970, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato, MN.  He was an employee of Midwest Electric for 30+ years.  Dale belonged to Immanuel Lutheran Church, was a lifetime member of the NRA and Key City Conservation Club.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, reading, classical music, his Lab dogs, and time spent with his family and friends.

 Dale is survived by his wife, Carol; his daughter, Lara (Dave) Birk; his son, John; a niece and nephews; many cousins and friends.

 Dale was preceded in death by his son, Michael; his twin brother, David; his parents; and beloved aunt, Marion Pollei.
