Beverly F. Nicol, age 94, of Minneapolis, born July 26, 1918, in LaCrosse, Wis., died March 14, 2013. Beverly graduated from Minneapolis Central High School. Married Kenneth O. Nicol on June 5, 1941. She worked at Regina High School of Minneapolis from 1961 into the 1970's retiring as Dean of Students in 1978. Beverly lived several years in Mankato, Minn., in the 1990's. Preceded in death by husband on November 15, 1995; parents Frank and Margaret (Ring) Murtaugh; sister Lucille Cashman; brothers-in-law Mervin Cashman and Lawrence Reynolds; sister-in-law Louise Barker. She is survived by sons Timothy (Janet) of Lakeville, Minn., Brian (Colleen) of Omaha, Neb., Kevin (Lori) of Eagan, Minn., and Larry (Julie Craig) of Mankato, Minn.; grandchildren David (Julia), Tom (Maren), Dawn (Mike) Lamm, Kevin, Daniel, Lindsay, Kelsey, Cady and Chloe; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law John Barker of Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 22, at 10:30 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 6730 Nicollet Ave. S., Richfield. Visitation one hour before the service. Luncheon and memory sharing in the church basement immediately following the service. Special thanks to N.C. Little Hospice for their care and support. No flowers or memorials, please.
