    Adair A. Kietzer, age 87 of Mankato, MN died on October 3, 2013 at Oak Lawn Health Care Center of Mankato. Adair was born on January 6, 1926 in Paynesville, MN to Stanley and Ester Madsen. After high school she went to beauty school in Mankato, she was also a homemaker and helped her husband with the Riverbend Boat Business in the 1960's in North Mankato which they owned. She also later on, worked for Shari Candies in Mankato. She then moved to the Twin Cities to be near her daughter after her husband passed away. She then worked on the Twin Cities area.

    In her retirement years she moved back to Mankato and lived in Orness Plaza where she leaves many friends. She leave behind daughter Dianne (Steve) Weingartz of Bloomington, MN and son Jim (Jodie) Kietzer of Mankato and son Howard Kietzer of St. Peter. She has two grandchildren Jackie (Robert) Burns and Josie Kietzer and (special friend Mike) and a great granddaughter Audrey Burns, also a cousin Mike (Penny) Madsen of Mankato. Also many relatives.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene "Bob" Kietzer. Adair was soft spoken, caring, giving, and helpful to others. She will be greatly missed. A private family service will be at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Mankato.
