Paul McCue


—  Paul McCue, 77, originally of Delavan, MN, died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Mapleton Community Home in Mapleton, MN, surrounded by his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake, MN, Father Thomas Niehaus officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before services at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, rural Delavan, MN. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is in charge of arrangements.

 Paul was born October 3, 1935, in Mankato, MN, to Willard and Violet (O'Neil) McCue. He graduated from Delavan High School in 1953 and soon thereafter spent several winters assisting his brothers with their parking garages in Chicago. He worked with his dad farming, and also farmed his own land. He is best known for his own business, Paul D. McCue Trucking. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed socializing with his friends.

 Paul is survived by his children, son, Jason (Nancy) McCue of Minnesota Lake, MN and daughter, Kelly (Joseph) Bower of St. Paul, MN; four grandchildren: Connor, Caleb, Nellie and Bridget; two nieces and three nephews; two siblings, Sister Marilyn McCue, SSND of Mankato, MN, and Mark McCue of Pompano Beach, FL; and many friends.

 He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John.
