Richard A. LaFevre

—     Richard A. LaFevre, 84, of Le Sueur, was reunited with his beloved family on October 8, 2013.

A Celebration of his life will be held October 19, at the Presbyterian Church of Le Sueur at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.

Richard was born to Oswald and Erma La Fevre on March 14, 1929. He graduated from Le Sueur High School and married Gloria (Toody) Pockrandt on May 20, 1951. He was employed with Northwestern Bell, his mentor, Norris "Doppy" Distel, and retired from a distinguished sales career at Minnegasco.

Community involvement was a priority as evidenced by his involvement in Le Sueur Lions Club, Masonic Lodge, Chamber of Commerce, Le Sueur County Sheriffs Posse, LS Saddle Club and Presbyterian Church Elder and Trustee.

In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to Smile Network or donors choice.

There are friends, there is family and then there are friends that become family... Dick will be missed by many, but especially by Kim and Steve Hammes and their children Mitchell, Max and Elle; special friend Eunice Lueck and Brother in-law Wilfred (Sonny) and Norma Pockrandt. Finally reunited with his parents, brother Dale, precious Toody and beautiful daughter Sue. Happy Trails...
