Benjamin Duane Boomgarden

Benjamin Duane Boomgarden was born to the proud parents Duane and Luanne (Jarvis) Boomgarden. He attended school in Madelia, graduating in 1998. Ben then attended Wyoming Technical College, graduating in 2000.

Ben was a certified diesel technician & absolutely loved it. He continued this type of education being certified in many areas of this field. He moved to Owatonna in 2005 taking a job at Phoenix Air. He quickly moved to supervisor & was off flying for the company troubleshooting for H-Vac units. It was on August 22, 2006 when Ben was headed home from work, he was involved in a serious automobile accident that ended his career at Phoenix Air. He then moved home with his parents. He died there on Thursday, June 25, 2009.

Ben loved to work on vehicles and was an excellent mechanic. He fielded many calls from many people all hours of the day and night looking for help fixing a vehicle. Ben was especially proud of his nephew, Preston. They spent many hours together on the “ranger". Ben loved giving his brother Brian grief about his mechanical abilities. Rachel could not do anything right due to the fact that she wore capris.
