NORTH MANKATO — Workers from a company that specializes in water tower demolition surgically dismantled the old North Mankato water tower Thursday morning.
Iseler Demolition, from Romeo, Mich., spent the morning lowering the 100,000-gallon tower piece by piece, cutting it up with torches and loading it into a trailer for recycling.
A new water tower was recently built next to the old one, just off of Lee Boulevard.
