PHOTO GALLERY: Mankato storm damage

Seven inches of rain late Tuesday and early Wednesday overwhelmed the city's storm sewer system. About a dozen streets, including Riverfront Drive, were closed due to flooding. Public works crews are busy clearing debris from city streets.

Others saw as much as four feet of water in basements. Mudslides and a lightning strike felled trees around the area.
