MANKATO — Aerobatic teams started arriving at the Mankato Regional Airport Wednesday to get ready for the Minnesota Air Spectacular air show this weekend. The U.S. Navy's flight demonstration team, the Blue Angels, arrived and performed a formation maneuver called a pitch up break as they passed the field, with the pilots enduring more than 7 Gs as they broke formation for landing.

The Blue Angels' support aircraft, a C-130, also arrived, along with the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team's World War II-era AT-6 Texan aircraft.
