Dale — the reigning NCC Pitcher of the Week — worked a complete game for MSU, scattering five hits and walking two while striking out a career-high eight batters. It was his fifth win of the season. Minnesota State (27-22) advances to play rival Nebraska-Omaha at 11 a.m. today for the NCC championship at Boys Town Park. MSU must win twice to earn the title.
