MANKATO —Jordan Grams was the winning pitcher, leading Mankato American Post 11 to a 6-2 victory over St. Peter in Legion baseball Monday at Franklin Rogers Park.

Grams went 5 1/3 innings, allowing five hits with six strikeouts. Through five innings, he had given up only two hits and no runs. Sean Allan got the last five outs for the save.

Brandon Treinen's two-run double highlighted a three-run second inning. Andrew Sweere had two hits and scored a run, and Derek Helms had a hit and RBI.

American (4-6) plays Friday at the Green Isle wooden bat tournament.
