Loyola boys down Truman/ML 79-73

MANKATO — Alex Piementel put up 19 points with eight rebounds for Loyola in a a 79-73 Valley Conference boys basketball win over Truman-Martin Luther at Fitzgerald Gym Friday.

Evan Ellingsworth had 17 points for the Crusaders (11-9), Lance Gaspar scored 13 points with six rebounds, four assists and three steals. Connor Tanhoff added 12 points.

Cade Ekstrom scored 29 for the Bluejays, Sam Geistfeld had 17 points and Jeremy Smith scored 13 points.
