The West boys made it to the section championship game, losing to Marshall in overtime, and four of those players received all-city honors.
Senior Carter Burmeister averaged 4.7 points and 3.6 rebounds and led the team with 5.5 assists per game.
Senior Braedan Myers averaged 7.8 points and 4.8 rebounds, shooting 51.8 percent from the field.
Junior Alex Goettl averaged 8.0 points and 5.3 rebounds. He shot 58.3 percent from the field.
Sophomore Jake Dale led the Scarlets with 17.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. He shot a team-high 58.6 percent on field goals. Dale has 915 career points and will try to become the sixth boys player at West to reach 1,000 points.
East junior Gorg Alhag scored a team-high 14.8 points per game. He also led the Cougars with 5.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.0 steals. He scored a career-high 34 points in a game this season.
Junior Mattu Chuol averaged 11.5 points and 4.0 rebounds. He shot 82 percent from the free-throw line, third best in program history.
Senior Carson Seifert led Loyola with 18.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. He scored his 1,000th point this season.
Senior Ryan Van Blarcom averaged 10.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals.
