West's Dale named All-Big Nine

MANKATO — Mankato West sophomore Jake Dale has been named to the All-Big Nine Conference boys basketball team.

Other members of the first-team all-conference squad were Ajuda Nywesh, Brett Lukes and Zach Wessels of Austin; Brandon Bocanegra of Rochester Century, Michael Hurt and Ngor Barnaba of Rochester John Marshall and Dan Jech of Rochester Mayo.

Juniors Gorg Alhag and Mattu Chuol of Mankato East were named to the second team, along with Cody Scherff of Albert Lea, Gach Gach of Austin, Nate Emge of Faribault, Sam Fenske of Owatonna and Jeff Schultz and P.J. Appicelli of Winona.

West's Braedan Myers, Carter Burmeister and Tyler Stoffel received honorable mention.
