MoonDogs defeat St. Cloud 11-4

---- — ST. CLOUD — Habriam Cardova ripped a three-run homer and Tim Arakawa went 3 for 5 as the Mankato MoonDogs defeated St. Cloud 11-4 Tuesday in a Northwoods League baseball game at Joe Faber Field.

Trailing 2-0, Mankato took the lead for good with a four-run fourth innings. The 'Dogs added two in the sixth, three in the seventh and two in the ninth.

Cordova ended up with four RBIs on the night. Teamamte Josh Fuentes finished with two hits and an RBI while Arakawa, Quinnton Mack and Alex Polston each knocked in runs.

Jon Perrin started for the MoonDogs and got the win. He allowed four earned runs on nine hits through six innings. Mankato's bullpen was strong during the game at Donovan Feenstra, Zach Hobbs and Jess Amedee each pitched a shutout inning.

Mankato evens its record at 10-10 and has a 1:05 p.m. rematch today in St. Cloud.
