St. Peter second seed for state boys basketball tournament

ST PETER — St. Peter has been seeded second for this week’s Class AA boys basketball tournament, which begins with quarterfinal play Wednesday.

The Saints (28-1) and Plainview-Elgin-Millville (24-6) play at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Williams Arena.

In other quarterfinal games Wednesday, No. 1 seed Perham takes on Worthington at 6 p.m. at Target Center, followed by No. 4 Litchfield against Watertown Mayer. St. Croix Lutheran meets third-seeded Braham at 8 p.m. at Williams Arena.

Semifinals are Friday, with the championship game at 2 p.m. Saturday
