Vikings release Mankato Training Camp schedule

EDEN PRAIRIE — The Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday released their full practice schedule for their 2014 Verizon Training Camp, which will take place in Mankato at Minnesota State University.

The schedule includes details about autographs, the Aug. 2 night practice, special events, youth activities and more.

The Vikings will hold their first practice on Friday, July 25 at 3 p.m. Three of the practices will be held at night in Blakeslee Stadium, including one on Saturday, Aug. 2 as part of Family Football Day, which will features a team introduction and post-practice fireworks.

Other night practices will take place Monday, July 28, and Monday, Aug. 11.

Most days include at 10:30-11:30 a.m. walkthrough in Blakeslee Stadium and a 3-5:10 p.m. practice on the practice fields. The Vikings will break camp on Thursday, Aug. 14, which will be Fan Appreciation day.

This is will be the 49th consecutive training camp at Minnesota State.
