MoonDogs down Rochester 6-3

ROCHESTER — Julian Esquibel pitched seven strong innings to lead the Mankato MoonDogs to a 6-3 win over Rochester Wednesday in Northwoods League baseball action.

Esquibel scattered eight hits, gave up three earned runs and struck out seven without walking a batter. Jesse Amedee got the save with a scoreless ninth.

Tim Arakawa, Zach Zehner, Jesse Fuentes and Woody Woodward ripped two hits apiece for the 'Dogs. Fuentes homered and drove in three runs.
