West beats Rochester JM

NORTH MANKATO — Eleanor Dhuyvetter was the medalist with a 90 as Mankato West defeated Rochester John Marshall 387-409 in a Big Nine Conference dual meet at North Links Golf Course.

Emily Smith shot 96 for West, while Laura Carpenter had 100 and Kendra Allen had 101. Lauren Reuland shot 95 to pace Rochester JM. West plays Friday at Hutchinson.

New Ulm 231, St. James 234: Corrine McKeeth shot a 51 to lead New Ulm to the win in a South Central Conference dual meet at St. James Golf Course.

Tasha Holm added a 58 for the Eagles. St. James was led by Julia Boeve’s 54, and Lyndsay Haler shot 56.

New Ulm and St. James will compete in the SCC tournament Monday at Shoreland Country Club.

Madelia Invitational: Kia Ruch of Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial and Haley Simpson of Madelia tied for medalist honors by shooting 50 at Madelia Golf Course.

LCWM won the team title at 224, followed by Maple River at 228, Madelia at 241 and St. Clair at 260.

Maple River’s Jessica Landsteiner took third at 54, and Carina Aguilar of Madelia and Adrienne LeMay of LCWM tied for fourth at 55.

Fairmont 191, Waseca 212: Lizzie Larson of Fairmont was the medalist with a 44 in the South Central Conference dual meet at Rose Lake Golf Club.

Elizabeth Kim added a 47 for the Cardinals. Melissa Bartz led Waseca with a 50, and Sydney O’Brien shot a 53.
