NRHEG reaches state semifinals with 62-49 win (PHOTO GALLERY)

MINNEAPOLIS — Carlie Wagner scored 34 points Wednesday to lead New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva to a 62-49 quarterfinal win over Pelican Rapids in the Class AA state girls basketball tournament at Williams Arena.

The game was tied at 25 at halftime before the Panthers got their fastbreak going in the final 10 minutes of the game. NRHEG scored the first six points after intermission and stayed on top the rest of the way.
