MANKATO — Before the Mankato air show started today, a small aircraft on the ground tipped over at the Mankato Regional Airport because of wind from another aircraft.

There were no injuries as a result of the 11 a.m. mishap, according to a news release from the city of Mankato.

No further information is available because of an investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Sunday's air show will continue as planned.

Saturday's Air Spectacular show was hampered by a rainstorm. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds' performance was canceled.

Those who hung on to their Saturday tickets will be able to use them to go to the today's airshow. Organizers announced that Saturday attendees will be able to use their tickets for general admission.
