MANKATO — A new tool is being offered at the Blue Earth County Attorney's Office that will allow people to search for, and read, criminal complaints.
The complaints are being made available as a public service, a news release from County Attorney Pat McDermott said.
"Disclosing adult criminal case information in this manner promotes public safety by providing victims, witnesses and others with criminal justice information that is not easily accessible from any other single source," the release said.
Complaints filed on or after Oct. 1 are available on the database. Previous complaints are available on public terminals in the Law Library next to the Blue Earth County Court Administrator's Office.
The database can be found here.
