BLUE EARTH — A Blue Earth man allegedly was caught with drugs and a gun after he punched two children.
Ravindra Anand Hollman, 38, was charged with felony counts of domestic assault and drug possession and gross misdemeanor counts of malicious punishment of a child and gun possession Monday in Faribault County District Court.
Hollman allegedly punched a 9-year-old in the arm and an 8-year-old in the chest because they did not clean his home to his satisfaction.
Hollman initially denied assaulting the boys but later said the children's mother told him to hit them, according to the court complaint.
The mother told police Hollman had a gun, which he is prohibited from having because he has a felony conviction.
Investigators obtained a warrant and allegedly found a gun as well as small amounts of cocaine and marijuana in Hollman's residence.
