A 55-year-old North Mankato woman was injured Monday morning when she was ejected from the motorcycle she was riding through Bremer County in northeastern Iowa.
Sandra Howe was riding south on Highway 218 at 9:57 a.m. when she lost control of 2002 BMW motorcycle, the Iowa State Patrol said.
The motorcycle rolled several times. The patrol described Howe's injuries as non-life-threatening.
Howe was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Waverly, Iowa. She later was transferred to another facility, a hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday.
