WASECA — A 31-year-old man was seriously injured after he allegedly ran a stop sign and struck another car at the intersection of Highway 13 and 430th Avenue Friday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports Justin Taylor of Farmington was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries after the accident, which took place about 10:45 p.m. several miles north of Waseca.
The State Patrol said Taylor was driving a 2010 Mercury Milan westbound on 430th Avenue when he ran a stop sign and collided with a 2002 Ford Taurus driven by 19-year-old Taylor Wetzel of Waterville.
Wetzel sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to a hospital in Waseca.
Taylor was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
