The Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota State University have agreed to delay a decision about hosting training camp in Mankato.

In this morning's announcement, MSU and the Vikings stated they have delayed the decision — which was originally set for today — because of recent progress in the lockout between National Football League players and owners.

The announcement did not set a new deadline for the decision.

If the Vikings decide to come to Mankato, they are scheduled to begin camp on July 31. If not, the team will hold training camp at its headquarters in Eden Prairie.

For more information, see Tuesday’s print or e-edition of The Mankato Free Press.
