Regarding the April 27 editorial by David Azerrad "GOP's Never Trumpers have failed": This piece is literally an example of putting lipstick on a pig.

Trying to pretend Trump's presidency is somehow normal and perfectly acceptable and business as usual is what is not normal. But this letter is not about arguing the merits of Donald Trump. I'm more concerned about the source.

I Googled Mr. Azerrad's title as "director of the B. Kenneth Simon Center for Principles and Politics" only to find that it's under the umbrella of The Heritage Foundation.

Where do you find these guys? We're already subjected to a weekly dose of two Heritage "fellows," Jay Ambrose and Jonah Goldberg.

The Heritage Foundation, as we know, is a conservative "think tank" masquerading as an educational institute funded by the Koch Brothers and their billionaire buddies.

The really sad part is we all pay for it. It somehow qualifies as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt foundation, so all that money is tax deductible. They can use it as a tax write off and spread their conservative gospel for free.

I appreciate that you use a couple of fine liberal columnists, E.J. Dionne and Leonard Pitts.

Surely, there must be some other conservative writers besides George Will who have actual principles.
