I found Tom Maerten’s May 19 My View: “Mueller investigation was damning to Trump” to be just another in his two-plus years of wordy, monthly anti-Trump diatribes.

Maerten’s emphasis seemed to center around repeating personal insults more than on Mueller’s essential result of finding no Trump campaign/Russian conspiracy. I think that’s called diversion.

Mueller “punted” on obstruction of justice. But Attorney General William Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein found no prosecutable obstruction of justice.

Now comes the Department of Justice post Mueller report criminal investigations i.e. investigating the investigators. Department of Justice Inspector General Daniel Horowitz report into the legitimacy of the predicate for the FISA court warrants to “spy” on the Trump campaign should be forthcoming. Likewise the report of Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Dunham, who has subpoena power, exploring the launch of the investigation into the Trump campaign.

We should soon learn if the activities of Obama administration officials Comey, Brennan, Clapper, McCabe, Yates, Rice, Power, Strzok, Page, Lynch, et al were unlawful and corrupt or merely unethical attempts to hoax the media and the people.
