When Governor Walz was elected to office all he could do is beg for raises in gas taxes, new plate stickers, title fees and any place else he could stick the car owner.
I think he should travel around the state and observe the road construction areas.
I do a lot of travel with my current job and when I see those state trucks, I ask myself: Does the state really need three big trucks with state workers in the setting parked with arrows indicating to move over the direction they indicate?
I’m not sure how far apart they are, but it’s an overkill for sure. I’m not against having safe working conditions on the highways but paying two extra men and the wasted fuel it takes could all be used for something other than two men and a truck doing nothing.
I would think one truck and possibly a solar powered Igbo on a trailer would be sufficient.
I suggest Walz start his campaign throughout the state early and see how many state workers he pays to sit in state trucks doing nothing.
