After attending “The Robber Bridegroom” at Minnesota State University’s Theater — a terrifically funny musical — and reading Paul Hustoles’ comments in The Free Press, I felt compelled to write.

If you haven’t attended an MSU theater production, you are really missing out.

My husband and I have been season ticket holders at MSU for a very long time. Over the years, we’ve brought our children along to many of the plays.

For my money, MSU Theatre is a terrific value. For not much more than the costs of a movie, you get up close and personal entertainment. The plays selected are engaging on many levels. Some are hysterically funny. Others are thought-provoking. Some are comfortingly familiar. Others are completely original. All are professionally put together.

The acting is wonderful. There is amazing talent in this theater group. The sets are exceptional. The small theater makes for great seating.

Everything about MSU Theatre makes it best entertainment value in our area.

You really need to check it out soon.
